Parc Merveilleux
Unos días antes de que naciera el bebé, Edda tuvo una semana de vacaciones y aquí estuvieron con ella los abuelos, por si me ponía de parto en cualquier momento. Le regalaron una bicicleta por su cumpleaños, que fuimos a comprar todos juntos, y va a toda pastilla por los caminos del bosque, con sus ruedecitas de apoyo que ya quería ella quitar al segundo día, ya le hemos explicado que primero hay que practicar mucho con las cuatro ruedas antes de lanzarse con dos! Uno de los días fuimos al Parc Merveilleux, un parque con animalitos, algunas atracciones y casitas que explican cuentos infantiles. Edda lo pasó bomba, se subió a un caballo mecánico que hacía un recorrido por el bosque, a unos karts (adelantó a otro niño, parece que tanta fórmula 1 le aprovecha), dió de comer a unas cabritas, subió a todos los toboganes que encontró y su madre intentó ponerse de parto a base de andar y pasar el día de pie pero no funcionó!
Whilst waiting for the imminent arrival of the baby, Edda had a week off school and her Spanish grandpa and grandma came here to make sure somebody would take care of her whenever I went into labour. They bought her a bike for her birthday, a pink number she chose herself, and we often went on rides on the forest trails. She goes fast as lightning on her new bike and on the second day already she wanted to take off the little side wheels, I have managed to convince her that you need to practice a lot more before braving the two wheels! One day we went to the Parc Merveilleux, a children´s park here in Luxembourg with a little zoo, some rides and plenty of other fun stuff for kids. She loved it, when on a mechanical horse for a ride of the park, drove a kart and even overtook another child (all those hours watching formula 1 with pabbi are paying off), fed some goats in the petting zoo and climbed all slides that she could find. I tried to go into labour by walking and standing up all day, but it did not quite work!
