Cuanto tiempo.../Way too long...

Hola ya estamos de vuelta, han pasado unos mesecillos de nada, a ver si nos ponemos al dia que hemos estado de lo mas perezoso. Edda ya ha cumplido los tres, empieza el cole (luxemburgues!) el 15 de setiembre y esta hecha una mocita, ya sabe contar y hasta empieza a sumar, reconoce algunas letras y se ha vuelto la fan numero 1 de la Pantera Rosa!

So... we're back, we've been sooooo lazy in the past few months! Edda is now three, she will be going to the village school on 15th September and she's so grown up, she can count, even understand the concept of adding up, starts recognising some letters, and has become the biggest Pink Panther fan!

El arenero / The sandpit

Su padre le ha construido un arenero en el patio, con sus manitas y feber... querer es poder! Y se cierra con el banco plegable para que no entren gatos por la noche!!
Edda in her new sandpit, that Birgir has built FROM SCRATCH, with foldable bench that turns into a cover to protect it from cats and other! Impressive stuff and Edda is loving it!

El cumple de Sophie/ Sophie's birthday

Hace unas semanas Edda fue a la fiesta de cumple de una amiguita de la guarderia, Sophie, la nina de blanco en la foto de abajo, e instauro la moda de beber agua con una cuchara, como se aprecia en la foto :) a ella no le des pasteles, un vasito de agua y tan a gusto! Por cierto, presentacion en sociedad del primer novio de Edda, Antoine, el que esta sentado en la silla de princesa!!


A few weeks ago Edda went to Sophie's birthday party with all her friends fron the creche. Sophie is one of her best friends -below, dressed in white. We take the opportunity to introduce Edda's first boyfriend, Antoine the little boy sitting on the princess chair :D Oh, and forget giving Edda any cakes, a glass of water and a spoon keep her perfectly happy!

Carnaval

Hola, ayer celebraron Carnaval en la guarderia, Edda iba disfrazada de hada/mariposa y asi seguimos, con las alitas puestas por casa :) Esta muy mayor ya, crece sin parar, habla como una cotorrita en ingles -a ver si empieza a lanzarse en castellano pronto- y hoy me ha dicho que me va a llevar al super a comprar un vestido grande de princesa azul para mi... no se si estoy muy convencida!!

Hello, here we are again, Edda's creche celebrated yesterday Carnival, so she went with a butterfly-fairy costume, she calls it butterfly with magic stick, and you see, she's still wearing the wings today :) She's growing so fast, talking non-stop in English -hopefully she will start chatting in Spanish and Icelandic soon too- and today she said she was going to take me to the supermarket to buy a blue princess dress for me... not too sure about it myself!

Ah, que no habiamos puesto todavia ninguna foto de la visita del abuelo, que estuvo unos dias con nosotros ayudando con la casa, y la verdad es que la Edda se lo paso en grande con su "buelo", asi que ya sabe, cuando quiera volver le guardamos paredes para emmasillar!! Y atencion que se en esta foto la cocinita que le regalaron los abuelos, la de sopitas que nos hemos tomado!



Oh, we had not uploaded yet any picture from grandpa's visit, he spent a couple of weeks with us helping with the house, and Edda loved having him here!! Check out in the photo too the little kitchen he brought, we've had many a soup cooked by Edda...

Merry Christmass everybody! Feliz Navidad!

Feliz Navidad a todos!!!! Llega el regalo más esperado por familia y amigos de todo el mundo, más fotos de Edda :) Este año hemos celebrado las últimas fiestas en el piso, este fin de semana nos mudamos a la casa en Rameldange... y tenemos cajas por todas partes, como se ve en las fotos. Edda está hecha una señorita, habla por los codos -en inglés sobre todo- y ha disfrutado mucho con los regalos de Santa y la familia: plastilina, una cunita para poner a sus "babys", el señor Patata de parte de sus primitos Matias y Elias, una diadema que le ha regalado Alex, una titella, libros de los abuelos islandeses, un paraguas... la crisis no ha llegado para ella :D


And as Edda says... Merry Christmas everybody!!!! Here comes the most awaited present for all family and friends around the world: Edda´s pictures :) This year we celebrated our last Christmas Eve in the Belair flat, as we are moving next weekend to the house in Rameldange... and we are surrounded by boxes as you can sse in the pics. Edda is growing fast, talking non-stop mostly in English and she has enjoyed very much all her Santa and family gifts: play doh, a crib for her "babys", Mr Potato from her little cousins Matias and Elias, an Alice band from Alex, a puppet, books from Iceland, an umbrella ... the crisis is not for Edda :D

Y como es Navidad, más fotitos de propina. La luz es mala, he intentado arreglarlas pero no siempre se ha podido. En la que está con su papi era en la fiesta de cumpleaños de Leo, el hijo de un compañero de trabajo, estaba toda timida al llegar, luego ya se lanzó! And some other pics as a Christmas gift for all of you! Lighting is not great, I´ve tried my best! In the one with Biggi, she was being all shy in a birthday party, she let go later on!

Y que no se nos olvide, foto de la hermana mayor que ella sí que está crecida! Los genes Scheving no están nada mal...Oh, and a picture from Alex, so that we can all see what beautiful girls the Scheving genes bring about!!
